NYC based emcee VS just dropped a new visual for his song entitled “Dark Of The Moon”. Vs teamed up with Epiffinati productions and a old friend, director Phil Gates & Highpower Studios, based out of Chicago to bring a new & fresh direction to the video. The resulting concept came to visualization as a short film. The video was made to be different. It’s not the typical 3 scenes usually displayed as a representation of hip hop culture - drugs, money, & women. It's not the basic show off your whip & jewelry video you're used to seeing. Many of these concepts have been grossly overplayed.
With the help of Phil Gates, Highpower Studios, & Epiffanati, VS is able to bring back to essence of old school New York hip hop – with modern day cinematic visuals behind it that paints pictures. Once again VS has done it. Representing NYC hip hop to the fullest & managing to do it with a twist in a new direction.
Yaya Flawless introduces her debut single "Hush" a sexy joint that's garunteed to have club goers everywhere Wavy with plenty of drink in their cups! This was produced by Ryan Toby. YaYa has some sound advice for both men and women alike on this one telling us all to keep it on the "Hush".
YaYa Flawless first graced the world with her presence in her birthplace of Cambodia as Soriya. At age 2 her mother relocated
the family to Brooklyn New York where she resided until 8 years old. Philly with its rich culture and urban influence is her current hometown and the city YaYa has been representing proudly. YaYa’s hiphop inspiration came from watching music videos. She quickly learned she had a passion and talent for singing, rapping, and dancing. But her talent does not end there; looking at YaYa it is hard to miss her vivid and abstract ink job. At the tender age of 12 YaYa became a self-proclaimed tattoo artist, inking six stars on her lower stomach. Since then she has designed and inked several of her many tattoos. YaYa’s flavor in music is as unique as her appearance and biracial make up of Cambodian, Malaysian, and Chinese.
So where can we find YaYa? At the age of 19 she has graced the cover of the 8th year anniversary of Straight Stuntin Magazine along side her COD counterparts. Straight Stuntin Magazine features YaYa in a six-page spread and interview.
