New Music: Flawless (@FlawlessRI) - Pressure 6

Fresh off an unexpected viral whirlwind of his (2-year old) "Doctor" video on Facebook, Flawless releases his newest take on how he handles pressure: "PRESSURE 6". Flawless, a lyrical emcee hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, has been making music for his solid following of fans for a few years now. He's recently found an investor, started his own label (#TeamFlawless), and is ready to bring his music from the smallest state in the union, to the world!

Just before Labor Day Weekend, his friends at Team Backpack randomly posted their favorite video by Flawless, "Doctor," on the Team Backpack Facebook page. That video spread organically, and within a few days had topped 5 million views. Flawless linked to it on his Facebook page a few days later, and set it on a further whirlwind trip around Facebook acquiring another 3 million views.



Although the Doctor video is one of his older efforts, Pressure 6 is a new song that incorporates how pressure affects us all. Sharing this new song for the first time is Flawless, showing us how emotion and pressure can greatly affect one's life, if you succumb to the Pressure....

After years of writing, recording, and touring the world in the rock bands Prospect Hill and Lansdowne, Shaun "Showtime” Lichtenstein, Derek “Doc. D” Rousseau, and Mark“Bamo” Roberge decided it was time to start working on musical projects together. The trio collaborated with a collective goal to create a sound that would scan all genres and combine different styles and techniques that are not typically used together. The goal is not only to collaborate and create new music with aspiring artists, they wanted to take their creations a step further by actually performing their works with all the live instruments used during the recording process. New Music: William Young (@_WILLIAMYOUNG_) - Harold At The Light (feat. Globe & Yay High)

New York author and lyricist William Young is making major noise with this new single "Harold At The Light" featuring Globe and Yay High. In its first week it's already gotten airplay on Power 105, Shade 45, and XM Radio.

Born William De Jesus Jr, he burst onto the scene in 2012 with his attention grabbing novel 'Gorilla Khan'. Featuring a cast of colorful and intriguing characters, William was able to draw readers in and create somewhat of a cult following of die-hard fans awaiting a sequel. Shortly after, he co-authored another entertaining book, "Brooklyn's Own: The Notorious A-Team!".

He went on to work with DJ Kay Slay to produce the Gorilla Khan soundtrack under his new pseudonym William Young. He has since transitioned into music and is currently receiving play on all the top New York stations including Hot 97 and Z100. He was also in The Source's 2015 Freshmen Edition and has been in Straight Stuntin Magazine as well. He was also featured on Kay Slay's famed "Enter The Cypher" on the track and video alongside Papoose, Chris Rivers, and Termanology.

Chad Michael Drops "Rain" EP

'Rain' is the debut EP of Arizona native Chad Michael. The emcee and singer, currently based in Los Angeles, wrote and recorded this diverse combination of six songs over the course of 2014-15, drawing from experiences and lessons learned while in college and after moving to Southern California two summers ago to pursue a career in music.

The release ranges topically from intense, world-beating anthems like 'Different' to heavier, introspective songs such as 'Nights Like This' and the title track 'Rain'. The opening track, 'Evolution' is immediate proof of the emcee's verbal capabilities, while 'Miss Me Now' also provides a playful cockiness to round out the 25-minute EP. Arranged thoughtfully, the record's ups and downs convey not only a collection of songs but a compelling story-line as well.

Having only recorded for less than four years, Chad uses 'Rain' as an opportunity to continue to explore and refine his burgeoning mixture of sounds. Whether crooning softly to an old flame or attempting to navigate the difficulty of societal pressures, the young artist's intelligence, raw ability, and passion shine through the crisp, often bouncy production of Oregon producer Emotion Beats.

'Rain' comes three months after the Soundcloud releases of six remastered tracks from a 2013 project, 'World on Fire', and a cover of R&B artist SoMo's 'Ride' in October, which showcases a surprisingly versatile vocal range.

With more on the way in 2016, including expected collaborations with established artists and new visuals, the future appears bright for the 24-year-old. 'Rain', while still undeniably raw, uses this point to its advantage, and proves to be a good place to bookmark the early chapters of a promising career.
