New Video: Austin Blanco (@austinblanco_) - Do It For You

Austin Blanco wrote "Do It For You" after chasing a girl who only ever came around when she needed him. We know most guys have been in that situation before and a lot of females probably have too. This song is supposed to capture that idea of trying to convince the person how you feel, but also at the same time trying to fight your urges and forget about her or him. Enjoy

Austin Blanco is a 19 year old rapper/songwriter from Sudbury, Massachusetts. Being raised in a suburban town always made it hard for Austin to gain credibility among his peers, but that pushed him to make sure he only made music relevant to him so he could never be labeled as a fraud or a "studio rapper." He recorded his first song during his freshman year of high school, and dropped two mix tapes in those 4 years. Now living in Boston and working on two projects at once, his 3rd mixtape "Yung Amish" and a love song EP called "finnaBAE," Austin's looking to get his name in the New England circuit for 2017.

New Music: Flawless (@FlawlessRI) - Pressure 6

flawless

Fresh off an unexpected viral whirlwind of his (2-year old) "Doctor" video on Facebook, Flawless releases his newest take on how he handles pressure: "PRESSURE 6". Flawless, a lyrical emcee hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, has been making music for his solid following of fans for a few years now. He's recently found an investor, started his own label (#TeamFlawless), and is ready to bring his music from the smallest state in the union, to the world!

Just before Labor Day Weekend, his friends at Team Backpack randomly posted their favorite video by Flawless, "Doctor," on the Team Backpack Facebook page. That video spread organically, and within a few days had topped 5 million views. Flawless linked to it on his Facebook page a few days later, and set it on a further whirlwind trip around Facebook acquiring another 3 million views.

Although the Doctor video is one of his older efforts, Pressure 6 is a new song that incorporates how pressure affects us all. Sharing this new song for the first time is Flawless, showing us how emotion and pressure can greatly affect one's life, if you succumb to the Pressure....

OH NO! ØKTAPUS (@oh_no_oktapus) - Interview (Official Lyric Video)

ohno

Members of the famed East Coast bands Prospect Hill and Lansdowne have spun their talents into a new group, OH NO! ØKTAPUS, which will cross all genres. Shaun "Showtime” Lichtenstein, Derek “Doc. D” Rousseau, and Mark “Bamo” Roberge, formed OH NO! ØKTAPUS as a trendsetting creative collective which will feature different singers on each project. Their first single, “Interview” features Prospect Hill singer Edgar Troncoso. Check out their lyric video below:

OH NO! ØKTAPUS BIOGRAPHY:
After years of writing, recording, and touring the world in the rock bands Prospect Hill and Lansdowne, Shaun "Showtime” Lichtenstein, Derek “Doc. D” Rousseau, and Mark“Bamo” Roberge decided it was time to start working on musical projects together. The trio collaborated with a collective goal to create a sound that would scan all genres and combine different styles and techniques that are not typically used together. The goal is not only to collaborate and create new music with aspiring artists, they wanted to take their creations a step further by actually performing their works with all the live instruments used during the recording process. Similar to a Producer/DJ, the group will write, record, and produce a given record and when it comes time to perform the song(s), they will be front and center stage with guitars, drums and all the like to deliver the in-concert experience for the listener. This new method of participating fully in the production and performance processes inspired their new brand "OH NO! OKTAPUS."
Wait, what!?
OH NO! ØKTAPUS is not just a flashy series of words or a gimmicky phrase created to grab attention. The name OH NO! ØKTAPUS represents the function of this new brand while serving to capture the nature in which this collection of artists plan to operate. Like an octopus, the trio of Mark, Derek and Shaun represent the main brain of the complex creature with their input on all facets of the musical production process. The artists that they facilitate into the music world represent the tentacles, each functioning with their own individual characteristics yet, still connected and ultimately guided by the main head. So, when the impact of this multi-functioning musical entity is felt throughout the industry, you will begin to better understand the name and its cleverly appropriate characterization. Beware the ØKTAPUS!
