"El Chapo" is a song by American hip hop Artist and leader of the Nati Nation rap collective, Shogun Maverick. Released as the lead single from his forthcoming mixtape "Candlez & Consequences". It was produced by Shogun Maverick. The single was released digitally on Soundcloud November 18th, 2015. The single was critically acclaimed on several music sites, and web blogs earning over 1,500 Soundcloud plays in just the first 24 hours of release. Shogun also edited and directed a video for the single (Filmed by fellow new england artist and producer Mr. Goodbarz) which was released on Youtube which also met positive reception giving Shogun several thousand views in the first month. (33,553 to date) Shogun is proving himself as a force to be reckoned with in the hip hop game and everybody should take notice on his journey to the top.
